I like honesty, simplicity, and laughter.

One thing that surprises other Malaysians about me is my open disregard of being the stereotypically thin, fair, and demure Indian girl.

I'm good at speed-reading and doing calculations in my head.

One thing I'm proud of is helping the poor people of Kuala Krau in Pahang during the floods. When tragedy strikes, it's amazing how human hearts reach out to heal one another.

I decided to be a voter when I saw lines of elderly people waiting outside the school to vote for Teresa Kok to retain Seputeh.

I'm most worried about government accountability and transparency, lack of education, and lack of healthcare services.

These issues matter to me because as a healthcare professional, I want to go to work knowing we are making a difference for our people.

I wish I knew more about politics, instead of what is selected for me to see and hear.

I want other young people to know that we can still create a future for our children if we make choices now and unite for the common good.
